  • We can insure drivers between the age of 25 and 75. They must have held their driving licence for more than three years. We can add an additional driver on to the insurance but all drivers have to be present on the day of collection.
  • Yes, dogs are allowed in most of our motorhomes at an additional cost of £55 per dog. Please see our blog about dog-friendly motorhome hire.
  • Its a refundable deposit of £750. This must be paid on collection using a debit/credit card. This must also in the name of the main driver.

    This covers the insurance excess and any damage/breakages/driving offences which occur whilst on hire Festival or events & large groups will incur a higher security deposit of £1250.

    All security deposits will be refunded to the cardholder 5 working days after your return.
  • None of our motorhomes have ISOFIX but do have a 3 point seatbelt which can be used on child seats that can be secured with a 3 point seatbelt
  • A minimum hire period of 5 nights applies throughout the year increasing to 7 nights through our summer period and Christmas.

    We do however run special offers and last minute short breaks.
  • We always recommend staying on campsites for your own and vehicles safety.

    There are many websites and groups available that can help find a suitable campsite, here is one we often use: www.campsites.co.uk
  • The most important thing to have in your head is the vehicles height! They are tall so making sure that routes are planned to avoid low bridges and car park height barriers.

    Our motorhomes give you a nice high driving position and large mirrors make our modern motorhomes easy to drive.

    When parking you need to make sure there is enough room to manoeuvre easily, make use of the reversing camera and ask a passenger to guide and make sure you park safely.

    Parking in towns can be difficult, try and find large supermarkets or parking bays dedicated to larger vehicles

  • There is an excess of £750 on the insurance policy

    A CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) can be taken out which will reduce the excess on the policy to £0.00.

    This also adds cover for your tyres and windscreen. If CDW is taken, the hirer will, however, be fully liable for any Overhead damage (6ft), damage caused through reversing, replacement or repair to windows, any internal damages or any damage costs caused through gross negligence.

    The minimum term for CDW is 5 nights in winter and 7 nights during the summer, the maximum term is 21 days.

  • All drivers must be present for the collection. We require all drivers to have completed our online check-in prior to arriving at your collection time.

    To check-in online we will need two proofs of address, One will need to be a utility bill and additional proof of address, for example, a bank statement, Both need to be within the last 90 days and at your current home address that matches your driving licence. Please bring your Photocard driving licence on the day of collection.
  • We do not include bedding, however, we do supply each motorhome with a fresh fitted bed sheet for each hire,

    Bedding & Towels can be hired at an additional cost – Please see our extras list.
  • All our motorhomes can be taken on a ferry.

    The company will usually ask for the registration number and size of the vehicle. This information can be found on the our motorhomes page. If you cant find this information, please contact our team who will be able to give you this.

    We always advise customers to book a flexible ticket via Direct Ferries:
  • The most important thing is to keep calm, accidents happen, call us during office hours or send us an WhatsApp or text message if its out of hours.

    Each motorhome has an incident report document which must be completed and reported to us within 24 hours.

    Make sure the incident form is completed by yourself and the other party involved in the accident if applicable. If its possible to do so then take photographs of the vehicles in their position and damage.

    If possible and needed a police incident report will help with any insurance claims especially if the motorhome driver was not at fault.
  • All our motorhomes have a HDTV with built-in DVD Player.
  • Yes!!! Hiring a motorhome for a Europe tour is a great idea!

    There are some bits of equipment that are reqired by law for driving in Europe:

    • Reflective jackets (there must be one for each passenger and be kept within the cabin of the vehicle)
    • Warning triangle (compulsory in most countries)
    • Headlamp beam deflectors
    • Breathalyser (compulsory in France)
    • First aid kit (compulsory in Austria, France and Germany)

    If you are planning to book your Ferry Crossing or Euro Tunnel they will require the registration number and length of your booked motorhome. Please contact us for this information.
  • All our motorhomes come with at least 1 x 240v plug socket for a standard 3 pin UK plug (this will only work when connected to the mains electric via the electric hook up lead that plugs into the outside of the vehicle)

    1 x 12v socket in the dash which can be used for car phone chargers, sat navs etc. USB charging points inside the cabin area.
  • All motorhomes must be returned to our office at your pre-booked return time. We ask the motorhome is returned with a full tank of diesel and LPG gas.

    We ask that the motorhome is returned with a clean & empty toilet cassette Greywater tank, please make sure greywater & toilet cassettes are only emptied at approved disposal points.

    Vehicles are expected to be returned in a clean and tidy condition, all floors clean, food & rubbish removed, bathroom clean and tidy, surfaces wiped, vehicles must be cleaned unpacked and ready to be handed over to a member of staff by at your allocated return time.
  • Yes, you can leave your car free of charge in our locked and gated compound.
  • All our modern motorhomes have high levels of insulation & are built to use in all weather conditions The digital heating system has a built-in thermostat which will keep the motorhome at a comfortable temperature The heating system can be run off the GAS/LPG or Electric hook-up
  • • A power source of 240 volts is needed to fully power the motorhome.
    • The on-board 240v plug socket can be used when hooked up.
    • The fridge can be used from the mains electric rather than using battery power or gas.
    • The leisure battery will also charge through the mains electric.

  • Yes you can, We will need to notify our insurance company and send them the details of the offences before the hire can be confirmed - as long as the insurance company are happy then so are we!. Please contact our team before booking.
  • On the day of collection, A member of our team will give you a detailed demonstration of the features and functions of the motorhome

    We encourage you to ask any questions as we want you to leave feeling confident and knowledgeable of all the controls of the motorhome.

    We also leave a guide leaflet in the motorhome and always at the end of the phone to answer any questions.
